On Tuesday, February 4th, The City of Tallinn and the Estonian Convention Bureau recognized the best conferences of last year. Among them was the EBAN Annual Congress 2024, the production partner of which was Frank Events.
On May 21, we organized an annual international meeting for investors, founders, and startup enthusiasts together with the Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN), which brought together nearly 600 people. On February 4, this event was recognized as one of the best conferences of the past year. We are very pleased that Frank Events’ work as a production partner has been noticed: that we are a good cooperation partner for our clients and that our attention to detail and creativity is something that has not gone unnoticed by others.
How was it to organize a conference that won the best conference of the year title?
The EstBAN Congress is a mobile event, and when its organization first started to reach Estonia, the main organizers Anu Oks and Kärt Klein found that the Latitude59 events were at a similar time and that they could cooperate on this. So it was a logical solution to cooperate with Frank Events, as we already did the technical production for the Latitude59 and its side-events.
The Nobel Hall and Proto Discovery Factory were chosen as the event venues when we went to see the rooms together with the EstBAN management. Since EstBAN had most of the stage program in place, our team could focus on delivering a technically impeccable production. In collaboration with the client, we found the best party band for the evening – James Werts World Project, and the best food was offered by Põhjala Catering.
Project manager Asso Toming believes that with such large projects, there are always surprises and situations where something changes at the last minute: “Fortunately, the cooperation between Frank’s team and EstBAN was on point – so the entire organizational side went so well that it stood out from other organized conferences!”.
Asso believes that success was ensured by impeccable organization and well-thought-out details: “What is the project manager’s job after all – to fulfill all the client’s wishes and, if some seem unfeasible, to find an alternative or other way to implement them. Coming to Estonia for the EstBAN congress meant that we had to offer impeccable organization and well-thought-out details.
