The Cultural Endowment celebrated a century of preserving Estonian culture

10.06. 2025

Exactly 100 years ago, on June 3rd, the Cultural Endowment’s council gathered for the first time with the aim of supporting and developing Estonian culture, arts, national heritage, and sports.

Now, a century later, Frank Events had the great honor of organizing an event together with the Cultural Endowment to celebrate this important anniversary.

Frank Events team has over 17 years of experience in organizing events. During this time, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with many of Estonia’s most well-known artists, as well as numerous up-and-coming local talents, to discover fresh voices and offer our audiences authentic and heartfelt cultural experiences. Throughout the years, we have remained deeply committed to supporting homegrown creativity, and we firmly believe that Estonian culture is vibrant and diverse thanks to the people who create with their hands, hearts, and minds.

At the recent Cultural Endowment anniversary celebration, performers from the Vanemuine Theatre brought to life the story of the foundation’s creation, offering the audience a beautiful blend of music and dance. Musical interludes were also performed by students and staff from MUBA (Tallinn School of Music and Ballet). The evening was hosted by Vanemuine Theatre’s drama actress Kristin Prits.

A beautiful takeaway from President Alar Karis’s speech:

“It’s important to realize that not everything that matters to us can—or should—be measured in money. Just as we cannot buy respect, love, kindness, or meaningful relationships, we also cannot reduce the value of culture to a price tag. Culture is the foundation of who we are as Estonians. It is our only true and non-negotiable capital.”

A heartfelt thank you to the Estonian Cultural Endowment, the Vanemuine team, MUBA, Tervise Catering, Frank Tehnika, Dekovägi for the stunning floral arrangements, Lillepaviljon, and Marek Metslaid for capturing the festive atmosphere in photos.
