COOP Summer Days with Families
How do you organise a company summer event for more than 2,000 people while ensuring there are activities for children, teenagers and adults alike – and that everyone feels included? This was the challenge Frank Events took on once again when organising the Coop Eesti Summer Days.
The COOP Eesti Summer Days “Possible Only at Coop” brought together Coop employees and their families from across Estonia. This year, we gathered at Kopra Farm in Viljandi County, where both the daytime and evening programmes offered something for every age group. The children’s area was filled with attractions and engaging activities, while adults could take part in a variety of sports and team challenges.
One of the highlights of the day was our popular F1 car building and rally activity, where teams put their creativity, teamwork and competitive spirit to the test. Once the self-built cars hit the track, both participants and spectators got fully caught up in the excitement – and the atmosphere remained high even through the rain.
The evening culminated in a lively concert programme featuring the Estonian bands Traffic and Nancy, whose energetic performances brought the day to a memorable close. The event was hosted by Erkki Sarapuu.
Possible Only at COOP
One of the most memorable elements of the project was a video challenge organised before the Summer Days. Each Coop cooperative was tasked with creating a short video around the theme “Possible Only at Coop”, highlighting their team and the unique aspects of their everyday work in a humorous and creative way.
During the Summer Days, all the videos were shown together on the big screen, with host Erkki Sarapuu adding his own live and humorous commentary. The result was a fun shared experience that brought the different Coop cooperatives together and gave everyone a chance to showcase their creativity and team spirit.
