The “1001 Arabian Nights” -style New Year’s party held in the Vatican was pure luxury and mystique. The event drew inspiration from the fairytale aesthetics of the Middle East, Persia, and North Africa, and the Vatican’s existing décor provided a perfect foundation for the overall look. The Dekovägi team draped fabrics and tassel ribbons from the ceiling, added cushions and rugs, candles, and lanterns—creating an ideal Arabian-style party atmosphere.

Magical performances were presented by belly dancer Valentina and illusionist Fred-Erik. Exciting side activities included henna tattoos and AI-generated portraits. The evening concluded with high-energy musical performances by UnderCover Band and DJ Aaro Põder, and the event was hosted by Aleksandr Popov.
